The Mass has always been the center of worship in our Catholic
faith. Mass is where we come together as a faith community to
witness the presence of Christ through the gospel and the
Eucharist. There are many ways that we welcome your
participation in this special liturgy. Below are some of the
opportunities at St. Mary.

Special Skills:
Boys and girls 5th grade and older can assist the
principal celebrant during Mass and other liturgies (wedding,
funerals, benediction, etc.) A desire to serve.
Attentiveness and reverence at

To
clean the sanctuary, sacred vessels. Take home used vestments,
altar cloths, purificators and towels to be cleaned, pressed or
repaired.
Time:
Every Friday, approximately 1-2 hours.

assist in the distribution of the Holy Eucharist on Sundays, Holy

Eucharistic Minister to the Homebound/Hospital Ministry

The Music
Ministry welcomes singers and instrumentalists who want to share
their gifts to help foster the sung prayer of our parish.
We have five choirs that sing at Sunday (or Saturday evening)
Mass and for special occasions. Below are the rehearsal and Mass
times for each choir. If you enjoy singing or play an appropriate
instrument and would like to contribute your talents to the parish
liturgies in this special way, please contact us – we would love to

provide assistance to our fellow parishioners during regular masses
and also during special liturgical events. This assistance includes
a variety of tasks such as extending greeting to all those that
enter, seating people, assisting at communion time, taking up the
collection and distributing the church bulletin at the conclusion
Mass.
